About Andrew M. Hale & Associates

Andrew M. Hale & Associates opened its doors in February 2008. The firm’s principal attorneys, Andrew M. Hale and Avi Kamionski, have significant experience in defending cities, municipalities, police officers and other governmental employees in civil rights lawsuits. Mr. Hale and Mr. Kamionski have tried numerous civil rights cases before juries in the Northern District of Illinois and are seasoned trial attorneys.

Andrew M. Hale has been practicing law for over twenty years and concentrates his practice in civil rights litigation and business litigation. Mr. Hale is admitted to practice law in Illinois, California and Florida. Mr. Hale is also an avid New York Yankees and Fighting Illini fan.

Avi T. Kamionski

Avi T. Kamionski joined Andrew M. Hale & Associates in 2008. Mr. Kamionski concentrates his practice in civil rights litigation. Coming from the City of Chicago’s Corporation Counsel’s Office, Mr. Kamionski has litigated over one hundred fifty federal civil rights lawsuits. Mr. Kamionski is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the United States District Court Trial Bar.
